Stuart is a retired computer programer who happens to love and collect southern folk pottery. It wasn't until last year that he decided to throw some pots after a 40 year break at his local art center. He began throwing cylinders then adding faces. He got carried away with the new art form and face creations that the art center called him on the amount of pieces he was creating and firing, and told him he was making to many pieces.So, Stuart decided to purchase his own wheel and kiln and move his studio to his home. The sky would now be the limit as to how many pieces of pottery Stuart could make. Since moving his studio home he has been on fire... creating whimsical creatures and face cylinders to date. He has started applying to local festivals in his area with his unique style of pottery as most pottery in the West is all functional wears.
